Downloads include all versions of Readerware, ReaderwareAW and ReaderwareVW. You can review the Readerware Release Notes before installing.

To install Readerware or upgrade your current installation, just double-click on the downloaded file and follow the on screen instructions. When upgrading there is no need to uninstall first, just install over your current installation. This will upgrade the Readerware programs but will not touch your database.

Windows Downloads

• Windows Installer (26MB) - This installer is for both 32 bit and 64 bit systems. To install double click on the downloaded file, rwarew32.exe, and follow the simple on screen instructions.

• Windows No Frills Installer (31MB) - Use this if you have problems with the regular installers. It is a self-extracting executable that will copy Readerware to your hard drive. Then add your own shortcuts. To install double click on the downloaded file rwarenf.exe, and follow the on screen instructions.

• Windows Vista:
  • 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  • 1 GB of system memory
  • At least 90 MB of free disk space
• Windows XP:
  • PC with 300 megahertz (MHz) or higher processor clock speed
  • 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher
  • At least 90 MB of free disk space
• Windows 2000:
  • Pentium with 133 megahertz (MHz) or higher processor clock speed
  • 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher
  • At least 90 MB of free disk space
• Windows Server 2003:

For best results a screen resolution of at least 800 by 600 and more than 256 colors is recommended. As usual more memory equals better performance.
