Readerware 2.985 for Mac OS X

Readerware products will run on both Intel and PowerPC Macs. Readerware products will run on both 32 and 64 bit machines. If you have a 64 bit Mac, Readerware runs in 64 bit mode.

You can review the Readerware Release Notes before installing.

When upgrading Readerware, do not drag your current Readerware applications to the trash can. Run the installer as normal, this will update your current installation.

Installation Instructions

To install, doubleclick on the file you downloaded. This will extract the installer. Then doubleclick on the Apple installer package icon and follow the simple on screen instructions. An administrator password will be required.

By default Readerware applications are installed into your Applications folder. You have the option of changing this during the installation.

When upgrading, do not drag your current Readerware applications to the trash can. Run the installer as normal, this will update your current installation.

Minimum System Requirements

• Mac OS X Leopard (10.5):
  • Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
  • 512 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher.
  • At least 20 MB of free disk space
• Mac OS X Tiger (10.4):
  • Mac computer with a PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor
  • 256 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher.
  • At least 20 MB of free disk space
• Mac OS X 10.1 - 10.3:
  • Any OS X capable Mac
  • 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher.
  • At least 20 MB of free disk space

For best results a screen resolution of at least 800 by 600 and more than 256 colors is recommended. As usual more memory equals better performance.
